Making a one-time donation of any amount (suggested $25) helps us:

  • Publish the journal twice a year

  • Hold readings and other events

  • Support writers and promote the literary arts in Queens

With the power of your donation, you will be joining us in our mission to help Queens storytellers bring their poetry and prose to our community.

Newtown Literary is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit so your contribution is tax-deductible. Donations can be made online or by mailing a check made out to Newtown Literary Alliance, 61-15 97th St. #11C, Rego Park, NY 11374.

For $10 a month, you can become a Community Supporter, which brings you:

  • Free subscription to the journal

  • Free shipping on any purchase from our store

  • 2 free tickets to any ticketed events and priority seating at all events

  • Feedback on 5 poems or 5,000 words of writing (max is twice a year)

  • Mention of your name in the website and the journal

The best benefit, though, is that your monthly support will help writers from every corner in Queens improve their craft and have their voices heard.

At the end of the year, we will send you a letter indicating what part of your donation to Newtown Literary is tax-deductible.
