Welcome Allison Escoto, the new Associate Editor

With Tim Fredrick's tenure as editor of the journal coming to a close and Jackie Sherbow vacating the Associate Editor position to take the helm of the journal, we are pleased to introduce the new Associate Editor, Allison Escoto.

Allison Escoto is a New Yorker by way of the suburbs of Louisiana and, with the exception of a few, mostly regrettable exceptions, has lived in Queens since 2001. A librarian by day, copywriter and poetry tinkerer by night, she is so happy to become a part of the great team at the Newtown Literary!
