Issue #14 Waterfront Launch Event in LIC

We launched the fourteenth issue of Newtown Literary on a beautiful June evening at the Long Island City Sound River Studios at Anable Basin. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Manhattan skyline along the East River, we listened as five contributors from our latest issue shared their work with the crowd. Our host, Jaymi Leah Grullon, led an inspiring program featuring (pictured from left to right, above) Deborah Straussman, Tori Ashley Matos, Rayna White, Sneeha Bose, and (not pictured) Basem Ebied.
